The Bible

The Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments were written by holy men inspired by the Holy Spirit and are God’s revealed word to man.  They are sufficient infallible rules and guide to salvation. The Bible is the inspired Word of God equally in all parts and in the whole is totally inerrant in the original manuscripts.  It is the supreme revelation from God and of God. The Bible is the final authority.

(2 Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13).

The Trinity

The Scripture teaches that there is one and only true and living God, Who is self-existent, and eternal, the “I AM”, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in essence, though distinct in personality.

These three are one God having the same nature, attributes, and perfection and are worthy of the same homage and obedience.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:18-19; Luke 3:22; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3,4; II Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 1:4-6; )

The Father

God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. For God alone is holy and worthy of all praise. He is eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful and forever present. It is in Him that we live, move and have our existence. He is the forgiver of sins. God is Love!

(Genesis 1:1; 1 John 4:16; Hebrews 7:26; Luke 1:31, 35; 1 Samuel 2:2; Psalm 145:1; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

The Son

Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Man, was born miraculously of the Virgin Mary.   He lived a sinless life. We believe that Jesus is the only name by which one can be saved. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He defeated death through His resurrection so that we can live an abundant life.

(Hebrews 7:26; I Peter 2:22; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 14:6; I Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is an intelligent being. He guides, teaches, knows, moves, gives formation, commands, forbids, sends forth, reproves, as the instrumental segment of the Godhead in the liberal dispersion of spiritual gifts, and can be sinned against.

(John 16:31; I Corinthians 2:11; Genesis 1:2; Acts 10:19; 13:2, 16:6; 13:4; John 16:8; Mark 3:29; Acts 7:51; Ephesians 4:30; I Corinthians 12)
